We founded Speedbird Offshore Yacht Club in 1972, when a small group of sailors came together with the belief that offshore sailing and racing demanded more than a traditional weekend marina club could offer.

We have grown into an active community of more than 300 members from all walks of life. We welcome everyone, from complete beginners taking their first taster sail to experienced Yachtmaster Ocean holders. What brings us together is a shared passion for sailing, learning and adventure.
